Can the Ruger Mark Iv Slab Sided Barrel Be Threaded
Additions to Ruger Mark Four Line
Sturm, Ruger & Co. announced a pair of new offerings in the Mark 4 line of rimfire pistols: the Marker IV Competition and the Mark Four 22/45 Tactical. According to the company, the line now has nine unlike pistols. Possibly more than interesting is that the company states "…more additions [are] planned for later this year." I gauge nosotros will have to expect to see what else the company has under wraps.
Marker Four Competition
This new pistol has a relatively long slab-sided balderdash butt – nigh half-dozen.ix″ – that is cold hammer forged. Ruger equips the gun with fully adjustable, target-style sights. The grip frame is machined from a cake of stainless steel, and the gun weighs virtually three pounds. That should make recoil very light indeed.
The grips are made from a hardwood laminate. Information technology comes with 2 magazines. The MSRP is $749.
Mark IV 22/45 Tactical
Many Ruger fans recognize the 22/45 pistols for their 1911-style experience in the hand. The new Marker IV 22/45 Tactical retains that look and feel with a polymer grip frame that is angled to be the same as the archetype John Browning pistol. The gun comes with a four.iv″ barrel that is threaded (ane/2″-28) for the addition of a suppressor or other muzzle device.
On top is a Picatinny rail for the addition of a scope or 1x optic. It also comes with fully adjustable sights. The gun too has a Picatinny runway under the barrel for a light, laser or fifty-fifty bipod. The grips are rubberized and replaceable.
This model also ships with two magazines. It has a suggested retail price of $529.
